A WORLD OF STORIES IS BEGINNING
Meet Baylee James
Baylee James - The Heart behind BayDreams
Baylee James was a gentle, curious Miniature Boxer who noticed the world with his whole heart.
In Baylee’s dreams, familiar places and faraway destinations become opportunities to meet new friends, discover the natural world, experience different cultures, and recognize the kindness that connects us all.

Meet Cheryl
Welcome to my BayDream
Cheryl Wyke is the creator and author of BayDreams and the founder of BayDreams LLC.
A lifelong reader and longtime travel advisor, Cheryl has experienced firsthand how discovering new places can inspire curiosity, understanding, and wonder. Her love of reading, personal travels around the world, and special bond as “Omi” to three growing grandchildren inspired her to create a reading journey that children and families can share.
BayDreams is Cheryl’s way of keeping the memory of her beloved Miniature Boxer, Baylee James, alive while creating a lasting legacy of stories, experiences, and values for her family—and for future generations of dreamers.
STORY FIRST. LEARNING NATURALLY. CURIOSITY ALWAYS.
Every BayDream begins with a story.
Through Baylee’s adventures, children will be encouraged to read, notice, wonder, ask questions, and imagine places beyond their everyday world.
BayDreams naturally weaves together:
- Reading and vocabulary
- Geography and travel
- Nature and animals
- Observation and discovery
- Kindness and empathy
- Respect for people, places, and our common humanity
